Kaz Ehara

"My work is about people, a topic that never fails to captivate me. As a visual communicator, connecting subjects to viewers is my ultimate goal, and I hope that my work can one day act as a bridge between individuals and society."

Following a degree in Journalism from Kansai University, Kaz Ehara left his native Japan to study photojournalism in Canada in 2002. After graduating from Loyalist College in 2004, Kaz landed internships with the Canadian Press and the Ottawa Citizen, and worked for the Toronto Star and began Sakana Photography in 2004. Since then, his work has been featured at the International Alzheimer's Conference held in Kyoto, and in many publications in North America, Asia, and Europe.
